What did you do America,
What did you do to Mexico
Mr. Huerta you had better
Salute the flag.
You have a lot to answer for
We lay the blame right at your door.
The Countries all are arbitrating
To have no war.
CHORUS
When you thought that we were fools
We just took old Vera Cruz.
The boys in the fighting Fifth,
Are fighting heavily, merrily,
With originality.
You know they’ll fight you from the air.
Or anywhere, anytime you’d like to try it.
Maybe you don’t understand, that fighting
Fifth of Uncle Sam’s,
But you remember back in 76, we turned a
trick, that made a foreign Nation sick.
The A. B. C. Mediators, are trying to save
you poor “Snipers.”
Take my advice, you had better think
twice,
And Salute our National Flag.

Old Pete says he is not a charter member
of the famous “Nut Club” but he is putting
out the “Mrs. Barkman” brand of nut
cake, famous in three states. Try it and
