The brick work on the Dickinson
high school building will be completed
this week, weather permitting.
It is thought, then, that the building
can be rushed to completion, so as to
be ready for occupancy within six
weeks, as a large number of plasterers
and carpenters can be employed on the
interior of the building.
When completed, it promises to be
one of the most artistic, substantial
and modern buildings in this section.

The Mothers Club will meet on Wed-
nesday afternoon of next week at 3
o’clock, at the home of Mrs. Geo.
Deats.
Mrs. Ed. Deats, president of the
club, will have charge of the meeting.
All mothers are cordially invited to
attend.
Last Sunday, being the second Sun-
day of the month, Holy Trinity Mis-
sion was visited by Rev. Chas. W.
Freeland, Chaplain of the United
States Army, who conducted the ser-
vice (holy communion). The welcome
opportunity to give thanks to the Giv-
er of all things for the return of fine
weather brought out nearly all the
members of the congregation as well
as quite a few strangers who are al-
ways made welcome.
This Mission seems to be ever grow-
ing and advancing without any particu-
lar effort from any one individual and
the debt of $250, being the balance of
the purchase money owing on the two
and a half acres of ground on which
the church stands, was through the
work of the Ladies of the Guild re-
duced quite recently to $150.
It is the custom in this Mission to
have a little something extra to offer
on all the church festivals as they
co ’round year after year, which
festivals assist so much in making the
services of the Episcopal Church so
interesting and devote, thus arrange-
ments are being made by the choir to
have some special music for Thanks-
giving Day and an endeavor is being
made to augment the membership of
the choir for that occasion. A hearty
invitation is extended by them to any
and all who may feel inclined to join
with them and thus show some recog-
nition of the many benefits received
during the past year.

The walls of the rooms are decorat-
