developed by University of Cali-
fornia at Los Angeles scientist*.
The 90 foot-long siren has been
constructed in a remote canyon
and is being used in tests for the
office of naval research.

squirrel hunter here who was pa-
ralyzed from the waist down 14
years ago in an automobile acci-
dent still manages to hunt some
every season by rolling his wheel
chair through the woods.
Lester Matthews, 32, refused to
give up his hunting when he lost
the use of his legs. He also is a
crack shot with a .22 caliber rifle
and has won many prizes for ex-
dise.

won their eighth victory in thir-
teen Washington County League
starts to move into third place
in current standings, defeating
