and T Ball coaches have voted to not
keep score during the games.
Ideally, T Ball is developmental
baseball for 5 and 6 year olds and
should be a learning experience for
basic skills and confidence. Proper
teaching and positive learning
cannot be achieved in a competitive
atmosphere for this age group. It is
hoped that the no win/no loss game's

Vicki Castillo, Barbara Fahey,
Charlotte Reed, Dolores Reiley,
Cynthia Schwarz, Penny Williams
and Sal Castillo will compete against
top amateur women tennis players
of 20 other CCA club teams from
around the nation. Each team will
consist of two to four, two-member
teams. A travelling trophy will be
awarded to the winning team.
For the final round-robin doubles
competition, one of the teams must
have a combined NTRP rating of
nine or less, and the other doubles
team must have a combined NTRP
rating of seven or less. These low
ratings mean each player is a
highly-skilled amateur.
To qualify for the national
championship, a round-robin tourna-
ment was held at the club.
