illness 8he was 19 years of
age and had been connected
with the Crafton school for 2
rears. Io everv respect one
had proven herself a noble

She was loved bv all her pu-
pils ana by all wiin whom she
associated. She died in full
hopes of being among the an-
gels of heaven in a short time.
How blessed is such thought!
How sweet to think her soul
has taken flight to that aunay
lead. She was a noble work-
er in our bunday school, and
in every thing that would tend
to elevate the morality of all
with whom she came in cen-
taet. Immediatelv after her
death Prof. Tallant left for
Bellevue to notify her mother,
who was very sick, of her
death and to make arrange-
ments for interment. It wss
a great shock to her mother,
and many friends. Hundreds
of people assembled at the
graveyard to pay their respect
to the deceased. The funer-
al services were conducted bv
