week for their new home in Ft. Worth
where their many friends and ac-

Claude Aaron of Johnson county
arrived here latter part of last week
with part of their household effects
and will soon bring his family to
grand old Wise where they will make
their future home about five miles
north of Boyd.
Mrs. Mary Wisdom of Fort Worth,
spent several days here with rela-
tives and friends since our last.
U. S. Absher was a Fort Worth
visitor Sunday.

J. A. Chandler visited his wife at
Fort Worth since our last.
Orion Proctor of Bridgeport, spent

ing in their home recently purchased
from J. E. Balch. Uncle Pink and
his family are welcome additions to
our population.
Dr. J. M. Childress and S. M.
Boyd made on auto trip to Burkbur-
nett last week.
Robert Bradford of Bridgeport vis-
ited relatives and friends here latter
part of last week.
Miss Jim Anis Simmons visited
friends at Paradise since our last.
Miss Eula Smith was a Fort Worth
visitor first of the week.
Miss Bel fa Redford of Decatur Bap-
tist college, visited homefolk here
since our last. She was accompan-
ied by her friends, Misses Elizabeth
Holland, Nina Chitwood and Bess
Bobo.
Miss Ruth Matthews and Mr. Cur-
tis Nunnally of near town were hap-
pily married Sunday, Rev. W. W.
NeSmith officiating
Miss Bassie McConnell and Mr.
Jim Davis of Garvin community,
were married last Sunday, Rev. W.
w. NeRmith of Bridgeport officiat-
ing.
Miss Vola Harris of Garvin com-
muniiy and Mr. Booker Henderson of
near Keeler were married Saturday
evening, Rev. H. M. Reid of Bridge-
port officiating.
Miss Frankie Hollis and Mr. Laney
Kilgore were married Sunday at the
bride’s home near town, Rev. W. W. '
