much difficulty.
At the clone of the war all soldiers
will be allowed a month's vacation at
full pay, during which time they will
be expected to make some effort to
find employment for themselves. At
the end of that time the government
will undertake the task for those who
have failed. Many employers have
promised their employees who enlisted
the return of their old jobs at the
war's close. This, of course, will sim-
plify the task of the employment bu-
reau of the department of labor.
The men who have been in service

those who have dependent families,
and finally after these two classes
have been attended to, the great mass
of soldiers, single, many of them un-
