The year 1988 is fading gradu-
ally into our memories as we look
forward to 1989. This past year
has been a crazy one. We've had
more than our share of scandals,

every part of our lives, from poli-
tics to sports to entertainment.
Politics were an integral part of
our lives during this presidential
election year. People were very
anxious to hear what Ronald Rea-
gan's successor had to say. They
certainly got an earful. The mud-
slinging tactics of both parties re-

centered on what to do with the
results obtained from medical ex-
periments during the Holocaust.
Bell presented the B'nai B'rith
Youth Organization members with
an overview of the subject, ask-
ing the question, "Can objective,
value-free information be gleaned
from an immoral source? Can
good be derived from evil without
legitimizing that evil?" The dis-
cussion was part of the Jewish
Heritage project planned by BBG
