cy, Dr. Lowman revealed that
100 people who applied for en-
rollment here were turned away
because of lack of acconmoda--
tions.

by the near peak enrollment
figure nofed here. According to
a release by the office of the
registrar, 2,303 students are en-
rolled for the fall semester. This
is the largest enrollment at Sam
Houston since 1948 when the
figure was 2,312, an all time
