quiry regardinx the county paying a
bounty for wolf st alps, and in answer
to those inquiries, I quote the state
statutes, 1925:
“Article 192.—When any wrsol
shall kill in this state any wolf, jack
rabbit, coyote, panther, tiger, leopare
or wild cat. he shall be paid : Five
dollars for each panther, Mexican lion,
tiger or leopar ; two dollars for each
wolf; one dollar for each coyote or
wild cat; and five cents for each jack-
rabbit so killed.
“1. Proof.—The scalps of said ani
mals so killed shall be preseuted by
the person having killed said animals
to the commissioners court of the coun-
ty in which sail animals were killed,
accompanied by affidavit stating when
and where he killed said animals and
the kind of each : that affiant in pr-
son, and no other, killer said animzi
or animals.
”2. Scalps.—Such scalps shall consist
of the scalp and both cars, so that
the court may sufficiently identify the
