Hondo, Oct. 21.—Thu Hondo Owls,
coached by C. M. ("Dutch") Flory,
trampled the Devine Warhorses here
today, 40 to fl. Although unscored
upon until today the Devine team
was outclassed by the strong Hondo
team, 1982 regional champions.

Mr. Lamon had been in failing
health for some time, but on Thurs-
day of last week he was visiting out
here and on one thought that death
was so near and would come to him
so soon.
The funeral was held Wednesday,
from the residence at ’1509 Buena
Vista St., at 8:00 P. M. Interment
being in San Jose Burial Park.
To the bereaved, we extend our
sincerest wndolences in this their
hour of sorrow.

New Mexico and Arizona, and to
supply these camps men will be as-
sembled at the recruiting stations
nearest their homes before being
sent to the camps.
Physical examinations will be giv-
en at the camps to the men who go
there direct. All men will be vac-
cinated, inoculated and Issued their
clothing and toilet articles after
they reach camp. Conditioning,
when necessary, will be done at the
work camps instead of at the con-
centration camps as previously so
that men, able to work, as practical-
ly all of them are, can be started off
on their jobs without delay. The
period for enrollments extends from
October 17th to November 2nd.
