Meanwhile, a motion by Councilman Lynn
Tachirhart and seconded by Councilwoman
Maurice Nau -ann paaeed unanimously to
accept the Castroville Library Board’s
recommendation for carpeting, with the
contract going to the low bidder. Carkton Car-
pots, Lytle, $980; and a new entranceway,
contract going to Fernando Gomez, Castro-
ville, $450.
Mrs. Neumann suggested the Citizen
Participation Commitlee be asked to meet with
the different programsponsors to determine
what benefits citizens will obtain and try to
gain some input from the citizens in the arose
they represent and report back to council with
recommendations.
In other action, council:
•Was advised by McAnelly that no progrees
had been made on the transformer and street
