the Community Church, and of the
Garden Club in Kingsland.
Survivors are a son, Sam Holloman
Lola Mae Marrow, 82. of La Porte,
Texas, died December 22, 1987.
Funeral services took place at Deer
Park Funeral Directors on December
26, with Mrs. Marrow’s son, Russell
Marrow officiating. Interment was at
Grand View Memorial Park in Deer
Park.
A former Llano resident, Mrs.
Marrow is survived by her husband,
R.B. Marrow of Deer Park; three
daughters, JoAnne Thomas and
Glenda Smith, both of Deer Park,
and June Webb of Bakersville,
California; a son, Russell Marrow, of
Georgetown; a brother, A.L. Garri-
son of Elk City, Oklahoma, and
numerous grandchildren and great
grandchildren. She was a member of
the United Pentecostal Church.
Arrangements by Deer Park Funer-
al Directors.

Holloman, 79, of Kingsland were
held at the Kingsland Community
Church on January 4, 1988, with the
Rev. George Bellford officiating.
Burial was at Lakeland Hills Memor-
ial Park in Burnet County.
Mrs. Holloman, the widow of John
M. Holloman, was born in Bates-
ville, Arkansas, on February 14.

former Mary Twilley. A retired

The Grim Reaper invaded our
community again. This time, on the
last day of the old year. Our neighbor
Ruth Oestreich, answered the Lord’s
call. Services were conducted Satur-
day afternoon. Our sympathy to the
family.
Although the Richard Castro family
does not reside in our area, our
sympathy to him on the loss of his
cousin. To us humans, it seems so
tragic when a young person loses his
life, but we are not to judge.
Now for good news. Little Karlton
Tatsch and his mother were able to
retrun home on New Year’s day. The
little fellow is doing nicely at this
time.
Mona Evers, who has been home
for the holidays, will be resuming
her studies at San Angelo State,
come Monday.

spent several days after Christmas
with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Ellis Russell.
During the morning service at St.
John, little Kyler Flint, son of Darci
and Roy Lynn Flint, was baptized
into the Christian faith. Visting and
present for the occasion were
Tyler’s grandmother, Mrs. Jan
Dobrowsky of Kingsland, his great
grandmother, Mrs. Dorothy Gustof-
son from San Diego, California, also
Chris Forte and Chris Watkins, both
from Austin and Pat Scott from San
Antonio. The congregation was
invited to a reception after services
honoring the little Kyler.
Sunday night, only a few folks
turned out for Bible study and
supper, but it was enjoyable and
invormative. Additional visitors
Sunday, were Mr. and Mrs.
Schauettee.
