Graveside services took place for
Jacky D. Hill, 36, of Dallas in Harris
Cemetery in San Saba County on
January 8, 1988. The Rev. Rodger
Croker officiated.
Mr. Hill, who died January 6, was
born on April 13, 1951, in Brown-
wood to Billy Hill and the former
Doris Harris. He was a member of
the Calvary Hill Church in Kingsland
and wasemployed by Chuck Curtis
Ambulance Service in Dallas.
Surviving are his mother, Doris Hill
of Llano, his father, Billy Hill of
Odessa; a daughter, Jennifer Hill of
Brady; two brothers, Larry Hill of
Livingston and Mark Hill of Pensa-
cola, Florida, and three sisters,
Debbie Bolger of Champaign, Illi-
nois, Patsy Dick of Llano and Lora
Gene Hill of Canton, Texas.

Jimmy Walker was born and
reared in Llano County and is a 1965
graduate of Llano High School. He
received a BBA degree from South-
west Texas State University in 1970.
He has been with First Llano since
1977 as vice president.
Walker is currently a member of
the Llano City Council, chairman of
the Llano County Appraisal Board,
chairman of the local chapters of the
Heart Association and the American
Red Cross, past president of the
Llano Lions Club, Cancer Society
unit, and a past board member of the
Llano County Chamber of Commerce
and the Highland Lakes Tourist
Association. He is also currently on
the board of directors of Cattleman’s
National Bank of Round Mountain
and Blanco.
He is married to the former Kathy
Bingham and they have two chil-
dren: Matthew, 17, and Priscilla, 13.
A Llano Development Fund on
behalf of Lester Inman has been
established at the Llano National
Bank. Contributions to the fund will
be used to further promote develop-
ment in Llano and will be overseen
by a committee to be named. '
Contributions can be made directly
to the fund at the bank or through
the Llano County Chamber of
Commerce, which will be acknowl-

James L. Thiers was elected
president and Jimmy Walker senior
executive vice president by First
Llano Bank at the director’s meeting
earlier in January of 1988.
Thiers began working at First Llano
Bank (formerly Moore State Bank) in
January, 1961, as a bookkeeper. He
also served as assistant cashier,
cashier, senior vice president and
executive vice president of the bank.
He is a 1950 graduate of Llano High
School and attended Texas A&M
University. He has worked for many
years with the Llano Little League
program and various school activi-
ties. He is a past president of the
Llano school board, chamber of
commerce and Jaycees. He taught
A.I.B Banking courses for two years.
He is married to the former Glenda
Heyen and they have two daughters:
Kathy Crafton of Nashville, Tennes-
see and Karla Thiers of Llano.
“This is something that Lester
would really appreciate," said cha-
mber manager Jackie Hatfield. “It is
something he would fully support."
Funeral services were held on
January 12, 1988. at Newby Funeral
Home in Bastrop for Lennah Bertha
Hefner, 75, of Bastrop, with the Rev.
Ken Kesselus officiating. Burial was
in Watterson in Bastrop County.
Mrs. Hefner was born to Thomas C.
Nite and the former Rhoda Webb in
Bastrop County on August 13, 1912.
She died January 11. A long-time
teacher in the Bastrop Public School
System, she was a member of the
United Methodist Church in Bastrop,
a member of the United Methodist
Women, and of the Bastrop Hospital
auxiliary.
Surviving her are her sons, Gordon
Hefner of Llano and Jimmie Hefner
of Austin; two grandsons; four
sisters, Mrs. Allie Mae Statzer of Ft.
Worth, Ella Voight of Lockhart.
Winnie Osbourn of Watterson and
Ethel Cunningham of Abilene.

Services took place at Waldrope-
Hatfield Chapel in Llano on January
9, 1988, for Lester Inman, 66, of
'Llano, with the Rev. Bill Schardin
officiating. Burial was in Llano City
Cemetery.
Mr. Inman died on January 6. He
was born on November 15, 1921, in
Llano County to Eli Inman and the
former Clara Gray. A member of St.
James Lutheran Church, he served
in the United States Army during
World War II, and was the owner of
Inman’s Kitchen and Catering Ser-
vice.
His wife, Doris, of Llano, survives
him, as do two sons, Les Inman and
Valtin Inman, both of Llano; two
brothers, Francis Inman of Marble
Falls and Bobby Inman of San Saba;
three sisters, Connie Inman of
Bryan, Marzelle Lenberg of Valpar-
aizo, Indiana, and Bonnie Tranthom,
and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Darrell Hoh-
mann, Steve Hohmann, Marion
Inman, Billy Inman, Rodney Brown,
Wallace Hohmann, Jr., Duane Bing-
ham and Donnie Frisbee.

Mr. Oaman, who died January 7,
was bomn to Harvey C.H. Oatman
and th/former Clara Breazel in New
Mexic-on May 6, 1910. A Llano
resident for the past 10 years, he was
a retired Texas Employment Com-
mission employee.
He is survived by cousins and close
friends.

Ina Merle Tupper, 72, of Kings-
land, died December 24, 1987, at her
residence.
Retired from Entex, formerly Hou-
ston Natural Gas Co., after 35 years
of service, she is survived by
husband, Clifford C. Tupper;

and Robert Ireland of Dallas, Kathy
Sommerfield of Houston, Sharon and
Charles Bowen of Kingsland; sisters,
Linda See of Nashville, Arkansas,
