Life Lutheran Church. She died on
January 24. Entombment at Seaside
Memorial Mausoleum.
A resident of Llano from 1979 to
1986, she was the widow of Robert
A. Humble, Jr. She was born on
February 26, 1909, in Arkansas to
Robert L. Thomas and the former
Pauline Calhoun. She was a member
of the Texas Home Extension Club
in Arlington.
She is survived by four daughters,
Mary Lynn Dickey of Corpus Christi.
Greta Cowger of Oklahoma City, Gail
Furry of Allentown, Pennsylvania,
Nancy Rankin of Arlington; a son.
Bob Humble of San Antonio, six
• sisters, one brother, 15 grandchil-
dren and seven great grandchildren.

business firms, having been established over 54
years ago by “Mick” Dalchau. For over 33 years
the offices occupied the corner of Ford and Main
Streets on the courthouse square in Llano. The
offices moved to 203 E. Main about 18 months
ago.
In October, 1977 Mick sold the agency to his
son-in-law, Mac Hutto, who had been associated

he is survived by two sons, Kenneth
Morgan and Jimmy Morgan, both of
Llano; a brother, Joe Morgan of
Llano; a sister, Mrs. Lee Christian of
Tow, 11 grandchildren and eight
great grandchildren.

John Long officiating. Burial was at
Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Tomme, who was born on
February 25, 1920, in Llano County,
and Sam Tomme were married on
November 19, 1938, in Littlefield.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors are her husband; a son,
David Tomme of Longview; her
mother, Annie Dunaway of Odessa;
a brother, Monroe Long of Moody,
Texas; a sister, Lilly Crawford of
Odessa, and two grandchildren. Jay
and Melanie Tomne of Longview.

Funeral services took place for
Russ Holland, 79, of Sunrise Beach
at Waldrope-Hatfield Funeral Home
in Kingsland on January 22, 1988.
with Dr. John Alsup officiating.
Burial followed at Sandy Mountain
Cemetery.
Mr. Holland was born on January
19, 1909, in San Antonio to James
Andrew Holland and the former
Wilita Mae Wilson. He died January
20. He and Faye Havens were
married on August 19, 1977, in
Sunrise Beach. A retired athletic
coach, he was named to the Texas
Coaches Hall of Fame in 1971. He
was a Methodist and a member of
the Federated Church in Sunrise
Beach.
Besides his wife, Faye, of Sunrise
Beach, survivors are two daughters.
Rosanne Koch of Ft. Collins, Colora-
do, and Mrs. Kay Van Ort of Phila-
delphia; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Jones
of Corpus Christi, and one grand-
child.
Pallbearers were Jim Pollard, Ri-
chard Hollinger, Henry L. Janek, Bill
Nicholas, Donald Jay and Fred
Karen and Gary Pollei of Pfluger-
ville; one grandson and his wife,
Steve and Judy Landers of Llano;
one great granddaughter, Aron
Clawson; four great grandsons, Jody
and Casey Landers and Jaydon and
Justin Pollei; one sister Mrs. Lillie
Shanon of Llano; a number of nieces

Herbert Lee McClintock, 72, of
Tow died January 23, 1988. Memor-
ial services took place at Waldrope-
Hatfield Chapel on January 25, with
the Rev. Stanley Nixon officiating.
Mr. McClintock was born to
Robert Lee McClintock and the
former Artie Bell Abbett in Dale oni
March 2, 1915. He and Edna
Youngman were married on May 28,
1938, in Goose Creek, Texas. A
retired United States Postal Service
employee, he served in the United

tock of Las Vegas, and two daugh-
ters, Mrs. Nancy Lovejoy of Round
Rock and Mrs. Martha Keating of
Denton, and two sisters, Sybil Wood
and Velma Crowell, both of Austin.
Stephen Boyce "Steve” Moss, Jr.,
was born in Llano County on July 11.
1908, the youngest child of Stephen
Boyce Moss, Sr., and Laura Jane
Ratliff Moss. He married Alberta
Lois Bird, June 16, 1928, in Llano.
A lifelong resident of Llano County,
he was engaged in ranching and was
also employed by the County of
Llano for 25 years, retiring in 1973.
His grandfather,' Matthew Moss,
fought in the Battle of San Jacinto
and his father, Stephen B. Moss, Sr.,
fought in the Packsaddle Mountain
fight. He was a member of the First
Baptist church in Llano.
Mr. Moss passed away January 19,
1988. at his home in west Llano
County, at the age of 79.
Funeral services were held January
21, 1988, at the Waldrope-Hatfield
Funeral Home Chapel. Brother
T.R. Wilkinson and Salome Agui-
lar, Peoples Savings vs Eddie
Maxwell and Katie Maxwell, judge-
and nephews.
Pallbearers were M.C. Scott,
Francis K. Scott, Cecil Joe Scott,
A.K. Scott, Jimmie Don Scott.

Cemetery in Lampasas for Willie
Bell Turner, 56, of Lampasas, who
died on January 22. Dale Shorten of
the Assembly of God Church offici-
ated.
Survivors are daughters Sherry

Bryant, Donna Rhonea Ford and
Betty Torres, all of Lampasas: two
sons, Tony Pizzoferrato of Lampasas
and Arthur Yeatheamon of Brooks
Smith, Texas; her mother, Mary Bell
Hunsinger of Lampasas; a sister,
Zona Mae Lewis, Dallas; two bro-
thers, Walter Lewis of San Saba and
Arthur Myers of Llano; 14 grand-
children and two great grandchil-
dren.
Mrs. Turner was born in San Saba
on February 14, 1931, and lived in
Lampasas most of her life. She and
Henry Lee Turner were married in
Georgetown in March of 1987. She
was a member of the First Assembly
of God Church.
