Hagemann
Earl F. Hagemann, 53, died on
February 5, 1988, in Austin. Burial
was in Floresville, February 8.
He is survived by three sons:
David and Barry of Austin and
Darrell of Belton; his parents, W.B.
and LuRay Hagemann of San
Antonio; two brothers, Ed Hage-
mann of Selma. Alabama, and Glenn
Hagemann of Portland, Texas.

Services were held at Waldrope-
Hatfield Chapel in Llano on February
5, 1988, for George Perry, 68, of
Llano. The Rev. Phillip Jones
officiated. Burial was at Llano City
Cemetery.
Mr. Perry, the son of Floyd Perry
and the former Lillie Mae Barnett,
was born on November 16, 1919, in
the Calf Creek Community of
McCullough County. He died Febru-
ary 1.
He and the former Emma Clanton,
who survives him, were married in
Cleburne, Texas, in 1957. A Baptist,
he served in the United States Navy
during World War II. Other survi-
vors include his mother, Edna
Anderson of Brady; four sons.
Wanda Osbourn, district clerk of
Llano County, joined some 550 other
officials for the sixteenth annual
county and district clerks' seminar
February 2 through 4 at the College
Station Hilton.
“Charting our Course for the
Future” was the theme of the
conference.
“County and district clerks can
prepare themselves to cope with
future challenges by participating in
professional seminars such as the
one provided at Texas A&M Univer-
sity,” said Wanda Osbourn. “Stay-
ing abreast of current information
about different laws and computer
technology insures an efficient way
of operating the county and district
clerk’s office.”
Legislation was enacted during the
70th regular legislative session,
requiring county and district clerks
to complete 20 hours of continuing
education every two years. This law
went into effect January 1.
