kicked off the week with a breakfast
before school on Monday.

Llano will host its second playoff
game of the season on Tuesday,
February 23, when the Eden Bull-
dogs play the Medina Bobcats in a
bi-district basketball game at the
Llano High School gym.
Tickets will be $3 for adults and $2
for students with the game starting
at 7:30 p.m.
Llano hosted the playoff game .
between Utopia and Paint Rock
Tuesday night. Utopia won the game
58 to 44 to advance in the state
playoffs.

February 11, 1988, for Nora Lee
Ballard. 76, of Buchanan Dam. The
Rev. Wayne Pemberton officiated.
Burial ws at Bluffton Cemetery.
Mrs. Ballard was born to Wayne
Ussery and the former Alta Billberry
on May 30, 1911. She died February
8. She and Bart H. Ballard were
married in 1932 at Gatesville.

to Gaston Barbee Hogan, Sr., and
the former Abby Kiker. He had been
with Texaco for 42 years, retiring as
a production manager, and had been
employed at Lakeland Mall in

addresses. The Llano FHA members
will be eagerly waiting to see how far

Margaret Ogden, 88, of Tow, died
February 12, 1988. Services took
place at First Union Church of which
she was a member, at Buchanan
Dam on February 15. The Rev. Don
Wayland officiated. Burial was at
Chapel Hill Memorial Park in San
Antonio.
Mrs. Ogden was born to William
, Gehrels and the former Clara Baker
m Bexar County on August 10, 1899.
B* hand Henry C. Ogden were
X married on February 19, 1927, in the
Republic of Panama. A retired
church mission school teacher, she
was a Methodist.
Besides her husband, Henry, of
Tow, she is survived by two
daughters, Pauline Hodges of San
Antonio and Clara Baber of Tow; one
sister, Lucy Meitzen of Seattle, eight
grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren.
