fourth annual Exotic Hunt along with the Directors of
Orphan Operation’s and Exotic Wildlife Association.

called to Snyder last weeek to be
with Margretta's mother, Mrs.
Joe Thompson, who was very ill.
Mrs. Thompson died soon after
they arrived in Snyder. Funeral
services were held in Snyder on
Tuesday. The Bentley's brother-
in-law has been very ill in the
hospital in Snyder.
Audrey Leisner of Houston
spent several days visiting her
friends Ethel and Martin Simon in
Paradise Point. The ladies worked
together for many years in
Tow resident Ralph Baber, a
member of Toastmasters for almost
20 years, is seeking to establish a
club in Llano consisting of members

Our community'received the sad
news Friday that Margaret
Ogden had passed away at the
nursing home in Marble Falls.
Funeral services were held Mon-
day morning at the First Union
Church at Buchanan Dam. Burial
was in San Antonio. We extend
the deepest sympathy of our
community to her family in their
loss.
The Jacobs celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary with
open house on February 6. Ralph
Jacob and Mildred McAlexander
were married on February 4,
1938, in Ottawa, Kansas. Present
for the celebration was their
daughter, Irene Fuller of Tujue-
na, California, their son Alfred
Jacob of Ridgecrest, California,
five of their grandchildren from
Piscataway, New Jersey, Car-
michael and Ridgecrest, Califor-
nia. and Marble Falls. With
relatives and friends from Rapids,
Wisconsin; Leveland, Colorado;
Lincoln, Nebraska; Perry, Kan-
sas; Waco, Johnson City and
Stonewall.
The Ruth Sunday school class
of the Tow Baptist Church met
Thursday afternoon in the home
of Gladys Blake. Everyone
brought their thimble and needle
and worked on quilts. The
meeting was called to order and
opened with prayer by Pat Rose.
Hazel Herrington gave the devo-
tion. Sixteen members and guests
enjoyed the fellowship and re-
freshments. Each one present
was given a package of fish and
pecans as they started home.
