Funeral services for James W.
Dawson, 82, of Tow, took place at the
First Baptist Church in Tow on May
28, 1988. The Rev. Stanley Nixon
officiated. Burial was at Tow Cem-
tery.
Mr. Dawson died May 25. The son
of James Lee Dawson and the former
Ida Jessie Averey, he was born in
Matagorda County on December 28.
1905. A Baptist, he served in the
counselor, 9 a.m.

be part of the Uano Rodeo Parade and two-night show at the rodeo arena,
June 3 nd 4. The trick roper will perform numerous feats with his rope and
horse. He will also be at an autograph party at Pinkies Grocery, Friday from
noon until 1 p.m:, along with other rodeo VIPs.

for the spring semester at the
university.
Those listed on the 3.50 to 4.00
honor roll include Charles Wilson
Roberts, an nimal science major
and Mona Lynne Evers, a mathema-
tics major. ___

| Mr. Mulholland is the father of
Carole Leeder of Llano. The front
cover photograph of Texas blue-
bonnets and Indian paintbrush was
taken near Lone Grove for the
Cincinnati, Ohio-based publication.
Survivors are three sisters: Lillian
Loraine Caffey of Tow, Bartie
Morgan of North Carolina and Sally
Masters of Virginia, besides numer-
ous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Sam Dawson.
Ronnie Caffey, Curtis Caffey, Walter
Caffey, Frank Martinka and Harold
Caffey.
Waldrope-Hatfield Funeral Home
made the arrangements.

1988. for Ray A. Worcester, 68, of
Kingsland. The Rev. George Belford
officiated.
Mr. Worcester was born to Charles
Edward Worcester and the former
Laura Leona Bradford on December
24, 1919, in Gainsville. He died May
24.
He was a member of the Kings-
land Community Church, Kingsland
Masonic Lodge and the Kingsland
Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie, of
Kingsland; a son, Ray A. Worcester,
Jr. of Dallas; a daughter, Carol
Marrs of Springtown, Texas; a
brother, Dan Worcester of Point
Blank, Texas; a sister, Doris Ken-

interested in conducting a three-day
class on western painting.
The regular, first Monday, busi-
ness meeting of the guild is
scheduled for 1:30 p.m., with plans
underway for children’s art classes
and a children’s art show.
Anne Mott, program chairman, has
announced an impressive fall line-up
for special classes. It includes Doug

classes, which will take place

August 20. However, registrations
