On our recent trip to the Texas
Press Associations 109th summer
convention in Austin we were invited
to the Lt. Governors reception room
in the Capitol. It has recently been
remodeled and is lovely with antique
furnishings.
The reception was a grand affair,
but strange not one member of the
legislature was there to greet us.
The Prime Minister of Australia,
Bob Hawkes, was staying at our
hotel and I wanted to meet him for

Aglow Fellowship will be held July 8
in the new meeting place at the
Centre in Marble Falls.
The new location is on the south
side of the building next to the Heart
of Texas office. Luncheon will be
served starting at 10:45 a.m. and the
meeting will take place at noon.
