Wednesday last was church wo-
men’s meeting day. Trinity Metho-
dist women met one day early in
order to have the women from Hilda
Methodist as guests. An average
group from each church was present.
Mrs. Betttye Bauer had the topic,
"Growing with United Methodist
Women." Bettye also illustrated
with pictures and souvenirs the
family’s trip earlier in the summer
which took them to Germany,
Switzerland, England and other
places. She brought out the fact that
people are people, all over God’s
world. Bettye also served refresh-
ments.
St. John women of ELCA also met
on Wednesday. Hilda Hoffmann
gave a devotion. Vera Honig gave a
meditation for the offering and
Geraldine Lang led the Bible study.
"To be a Living Temple," a
continuing study of the book of Mark
was discussed. Anita Oestreich
