Because Pastor Schardin was on
vacation, St. John, on Sunday, was
privileged to hear a most interesting
message by Sam Mull. After the
service, St. John was guest of Trinity
Methodist for a pot luck meal. The
fellowship was also great.
God without man is still God. Man
without God is nothing.

First of all, our sympathy to the
Frank Walker family. Frank’s sud-
den and unexpected demise of last
week was a shock. Frank, (like I) was
not an original native of Castell and
perhaps that is why he was a special
friend.
And some news of last week.
Gertrude Grote had many of her
family as visitors. They included Jim
and Mary Foerster and Dan and Mr.
and Mrs. Shelton Foerster and son,
all of Fredericksburg; Mr. and Mrs.
Dale Proctor and sons from Arling-
ton and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Foerster
and son from Houston. The past
Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Boots Foers-

Reservations for the courtyard
galleria room are sold out a year in
advance. However, since the Llano
guild has access to the large
warehouse, these booth spaces are
also much in demand because of
being easily accessible and indoors.

ngressman District 21, will be in

Hi
the discussion. The study was
Mark’s gospel on the last two days
before Christ’s crucifixion, when the
woman annointed Christ with the
expensive ointment, how the disci-
ples complained about the expense
and how Christ explained to them
the right way to be extravegant. Also
He explained to them, how, in spite
of the constant failures of us (as
when Peter denied Him) He still
loves and sustains us. Evelyn served
sandwiches, chips, cake and coffee.
