The Llano independent School District is the county's biggest
business - last year's budget was 4.3 million dollars. And it is
getting sound business management:

The Women’s Aglow Fellowship
meeting will be held May 6 in the
Burgundy Room — The Centre,
Marble Falls. Luncheon will be
served at 10:45 a.m. and the meeting
will be at 11:30.
It now appears that this was the
most successful Bluebonnet Show in
our gallery’s history, except for the
lack of abundance of the little flower,
whose name it honors.

enjoying their new home in Marble
Falls, but maintain their place here.
The 85 points of rain we received
Saturday morning wm good, but not
the hail which did damage to the
garden. The rain helped offset that
damage. The very strong wind which
followed made one think

Award certificate to put on your wall.
All you have to do is legally catch a
fish heavier than the minimum
weight established for that species
and provide the department some
simple documentation.
In fact, the TPWD has combined
application forms for Big Fish
awards, state records, lake records
and the lunker catch and release
program into one handy form.
If you catch a fish you believe
qualifies for a big fish sward, you
need only to complete the application F i
form, weigh the fish on a scale
certified for trade by the Texas ET-a
Department of Agriculture, obtain
the signature of two witnesses to the
weighing and send the application to
TPWD Headquarters, 4200 Smith
School Road, Austin, Texas 78744.
The person applying for the certifi-
cate must have hooked, fought and
landed the fish without assistance.
Species eligible for big fish swards,
and the required minimum weights
are: spotted seatrout, 7 pounds;
black drum, 35 pounds; southern
flounder, six pounds; largemouth
bass, eight pounds; king mackerel,
30 pounds; red snapper, 20 pounds;
