KINGSLAND — Santa Claus will visit the Kingsland Community
Center on December 16. This will be an evening of music, refreshmens
and treats for the children.
The Community Center is sponsoring an "Old Fashioned
Christmas Program” to show its appreciation to the people of the
community for their continued support during 1988. The board of
directors was able to pay $16,000 toward the debt on the building
during the year. This could not have been possible without the help of
many citizens and local businesses. The Christmas program will be to
show the center’s appreciation.
Refreshments will be served from 6:30 - 7 p.m. The Marble Falls
High School show choir, the Liberty, under the direction of Tom Barr,
will perform from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Santa will arrive at approximately
7:45. The children will have an opportunity to visit with Santa and all
children up to and including fourth grade students will receive a goodie
bag from Santa.
We invite everyone to join in an evening of fun and entertainment
at the Old Fashioned Christmas Program.
