The Texas conference basketball race starts tomorrow
night. This department figured the Texas Wesleyan Rams were
a cinch to rule the league a couple of weeks ago. The Fort
Worth collegians still rate as "the team to beat," but the out-
look for another nip-and-tnek campaign is much brighter to-

moved them up several notches in my estimation.
The Cats and the McMurry Indians appear to be the best
bets to overhaul the Rams. I would say offhand that A. O. C.
stands a better chance than' the Braves because of an easier
