The Weissenborn Concert.
At Turner opera hall last night a concert was
given for the benefit of the widow and the
children ot the late music-composer E. A.

small. “Vineta a Sunken City” ns rendered
bv the Beethoven club was highly appreciated
Mr C H. Miller rendered “The Fallen Angel
a baritone solo and for an encore “So far.’
The trio from “N'aeht Lager in Grenada was
sung by Madame Rosetti Mr. Gerhardt and
Prof Barbour. The gems of the entertain-
ment were the singing of Rohini's “Strabat-
mater” by Madame Rosini and a mixed chorus
and the birdlike notes of Miss Bessie Bi 11 the
charming young lady whom an enraptured
newspaper writer has called "ihe Alamo
