was held Saturday, April 18,
in the Charlotte Elementary
School buildings. V 4,-
Schools in the meet inclu-
ded Charlotte, Dilley, Lytle,
Medina Valley, Sabinal, Som-,
erset, and southside. ’
Parents of the boys and
girls from Medina Valley
Schools should certainly be
proud of the excellent’ show-
ing s t u d e n t s . made set the
meet. The compG.titiv.e spirit
displayed by ths group oT stu-
dents was a pleasant sight tol
observe, school officials said.
Of the 3 2 entrants from Me-
dina Valley,. 9 placed first, 8
placed second, 9 placed third,
4 placed fourth, ! placed fifth,
and I placed sixth. .This com-
pared with C h a r 1C t'te’s ‘ 9
firsts, 11 seconds, 8 thirds,
and 3 fourths; 3 others did not

schools entered in the meet
came close to comparing with
