man as slowly improving at
the C.C. Young (Methodist
Rest Home) in Dallas. She is
able to walk some and dress
herself following a stroke
several weeks ago.

Booster’s Club met M nday
night and elected the
following officers: Jimmy
Myers, President; Billy
Wade Cope, Vice President;
Robert Windle, Treasuerer,
and Mrs. Danny Martindale,
Secretary. Their next meet-
in will be held June 4th in
the school library.

Ralph Couch, 74, died
Wednesday May 23rd in
Baylor Hospital. He was a
former Valley View banker
and retired in 1970.
Funeral services were
held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in
Vernie Keel Funeral Home.
Will Weathersby, Valley
View Church of Christ
minister officiated.
Pallbearers were Paul
Seyler, Mike Seyler, Jeff
Turner, Thomas Couch,
Clyde King and / W.E.
Hudspeth.
Survivors are his wife,
Claudine; one son, Kenneth

C.J. Seyler of Valley View
and Mrs. Tommy Turner of
Gainesville; three brothers,

and Clyde Couch of Denton;
and three sisters, six

grandchild.
