AUSTIN — Higher faculty and staff salaries
at North Texas State University and Texas
Woman's University were agreed on Saturday
by the Senate - House conference committee
on appropriations.
They agreed on the Senate version of the fa-
. culty salary formula, which would provide
about $250,000 a year more for NTSU and $96,000
more for TWU.
They also agreed on 'a Senate formula which
allows a 3.4 per cent increase in pay for all
non-faculty personnel
The amount of this is not available because
it is scattered through several sections of the
appropriations bill.
Details will have to be worked out by the
committee staff %

To lend color and excite-

Wood has arranged a pro
gram. starting at 7 pm. in
advance of the first night's
showing
The program will include a
hanging. Mrs Wood decided
that since an important part
of the picture is devoted to
the preparations for a hang-
ing, it would be pertinent to
install a gallows and have a
hanging, right out there in
front of everybody
Well. now. going out and
