groove. Jerry Harrison is still a very
impressive instrumental voice, but
with the exception of their cover of Al
Green's "Take Me to the River" and
Byrne’s "The Girls Want to Be With
the Girls,” these songs are too insular
more now that these guys have
managed to keep the producer I
dislike most, Brian Eno, from turning
their songs into oscilloscope readouts.

the Netherlands

of Latham's works, "Epigrammata"
has Latin lyrics and features a sung
dialogue between male and female
voices in the choir.
The Friday concert will include
other works performed by the choir
during its recent tour. The concert is
free and open to the public.

premiere of a work by NTSU music
faculty member Dr. William P.
Latham at a concert at 8:15 p.m.
Friday at the Music Recital Hail
The choir, directed by Frank
McKinley, recently returned from an
18-day concert tour of London,
Holland and Poland during which it
premiered the Latham work,
Auditions will begin at 10 a m. Saturday at the \
Fellowship Hall of St. Andrew Presbyterian
Church.
Acta auditioning may be vocal or instrumental,
solo or group, comedy routines, dance or jugglers
and should appeal to a dinner audience of several
