talk by the Rev. S. J. Porter of
the First Baptist Church at the

Plaza Theater today.
A large crowd again attended the
noon-day service which is under the
auspices of al the Protestant denom-

congregation the Rev. L. E. Booth
offered a prayer and the Rev.

love and pity called attention to
the relationship of child and father
between God and His people. He

Bitter Feeling Created by Execution

NACO Ariz.. March 18.—Nearly
2000 state troops are closing in on
the little Mexican border town op-
posite this port. Alter their defeat

it was learned yesterday that Colo

troops is moving by rail from No-

circles south from Nogales to Del Rio

below Naco are moving westward
and on the way reorganizing their
scattered forces which originally
number'd 950. From Nogales direct-
ly along the border. 250 picked
Yaqui braves are making a forced
march to arrive in time with croups
of other state troops. Harassed by
the approach of their tribesmen a
few of the Yaqui members of Ojeda's
command have deserted depleting
the already small force of the
J Huerta garrison here.
With the return of the state troops
in greater numbers. It Is doubtful
If General Ojeda will dare venture
out as he did Saturday to meet an
enemy four times his strength.

construction of a bullet proof build-

TO BEGIN PAVING
Asphalt Tupping to Begin Soon on
South Flores Street.
Arrangements were made to begin
laying the asphalt topping on South
Flores street today. As orlgiuully in-
tended this was to be laid four inches
thick between Arsenal street and the
Sap depot. It was found however
that the paving between Arsenal and
West Nueva street would require so
much patching that it was deemed
best to retop the entire length of the
existing pavement.
Instead of four Inches this topping
will be but two inches thick and can
be laid for approximately the same
cost as provided in the original plan.
