Funeral services were held
for Richard Hohertz on Mon-
day, April 25, at Zion Lutheran
Church in Priddy, with Rev.
Don Vlasak officiating. Inter-
ment was in the Zion Ceme-
tery under direction of Wilkins
Funeral Home of Goldthwaite.
Mr. Hohertz, 92, passed
away on April 23, 1977, at
Childress Hospital in Goldth-
waite. He was born July 14,
1884 in Hamilton County.
On December 3, 1910, he
married Mary Garmatzy, and
they have lived at Priddy all of
their married life. Mr. Hohertz
was a Lutheran.
PERSONAL —
Oran Carothers came by the
Eagle office Friday, April 22,
to pay for his paper for another
year. He commented on the
beautiful day. He told us that
he built a tank 10 years ago
and it had never run water
around, but it had run around
today.

Mr. Hohertz is survived by
his wife, Mary; two daughters,
Annie Schoen, Pottsville, and
Ethyl Schoen, Priddy; two
sons, Waldo Hohertz, Priddy,
and Wardell Hohertz of Ama-
rillo; 16 grandchildren and 17
great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Carl Ho-
hertz, Albert Hohertz, Adolph
Hohertz, Edward Wagner,
Ted Wuistinger and Ewald
Hohertz.
Also, there were three more
persons who wanted in the
clinic than there was room for.
If seven more persons would
sign up, we could get a third
professional from Austin for
the Clinic.
The cost is $16.50 per
person for the 6 hours of
lessons. Please call Winn by
Monday, May 2, if you are
interested.
