Funeral services were held
Sunday, July 24, 1977, at
4:00 p.m., for Charles Alton
Keeler, at the First United
Methodist Church of Gold-
thwaite with Rev. Gordon
Talk of Fredericksburg of-
ficiating. Rev. Talk was
assisted by Rev. Ben Welch
and Rev. Wilkerson.
Interment was in the
Zephyr Cemetery under the
direction of Wilkins Funeral
Home.
Mr. Keeler was born July
30, 1903 at Grosvenor in
Brown County and married
Annie Chambers July 27,
1923 at Burkett. They moved
to Goldthwaite from Zephyr
in 1958.
He was a member of the
Methodist church, the Gold-
thwaite Lions Club and the
Masonic Lodge 694 AF&AM.
He was a retired rancher.
Survivors include his wife,
Annie; Three daughters,
Mrs. LaVerne Kilgore of Ft.
Worth, Mrs. Christine Wil-
liamson of San Marcos, and
Mrs. Anne Loyd of Zephyr;
two brothers, Ercel Keeler of
Hale Center and S.D. Keeler
of Zephyr; One sister, Mrs.
Ardell Davis of Kermit; 6
grandchildren and 6 great
grandchildren, and a host of
