some Eagle baseball players
are already preparing for next
year on their own. “I have
driven by the field in the af-
ternoon and seen kids
picthing and hitting on their
own,” said Spradley. “Most
of the younger players are
playing some sort of summer
baseball. It all helps.”
Spradley is hopeful look-
ing forward to the 2008 sea-
son. “We lost a lot of good
seniors especially in the out-
field and short stop, but
we’ve got good players com-
ing up to fill the spots.”
