Centex Elite Basketball Team Snapshot
The Centex Elite basketball team has won their last two tournaments. The Elite won the Alamo Show-
down which was held in San Antonio May 12,13. Then they traveled to Denton May 19,20 and won the
more competitive All American Shootout.
The Centex Elite is a summer basketball team with players from Bangs, Comanche, Evant, Goldth-
waite and San Saba. The purpose of the team is to give dedicated players the opportunity to improve their
skills. They are really coming together and playing well.
Playing for the Elite are Kayla Bufe, Kayla Prescott, Heidi Callan, Hailey Oliver, Ashley Roberts,
Jenna Duncan, Danielle Denbow and Hillary Evans. This team will travel June 1-3 to compete in a
MAYB tournament in Georgetown.
