ket disclosed six weeks of strenuous ac-
tivity during which a new high of 28 1-2
cents a pound was set lor twelve month
clip and a record price oi 26 cents a
pound for eight month wool lias also
been set. Most of the free wool has been
purchased at prices which ranged from
21 1-2 to the top of 28 1-2 cents with
the average well above 25 eents, and
alwnt 450,000 pounds of mohair is a re-
* cent offering at fancy prices.
