Aguero Jr., both of Pleasanton, are

daughter, Bianca Nichole Aguero,
on Friday, August 23, 1991 at 7:35
p m. at Medical Center Hospital in

the sheriff
He said that the woman had been
picked up by a man she had known at
least briefly.
Stoudt was arrested at his home at
1109 Church St He was a former
employee of a fireworks company
His bail has been set at $50,000
Sheriff Kiersey, who said Ms
Salazar had been stabbed with a
sharp object. said a couple found her
in the back yard and she was
bleeding profusely.

self-care program at Bastrop
Nursing Home and was allowed to
come and go as she pleased, said the
sheriff.

in cross country meet
Brandi Cotten and Heather
Rhodes competed at the Yoakum
Cross Country Meet Saturday.
Brandi won a gold medal for
placing 14th out of 90-plus girls. Her
time was 12:06 for the 2-mile run,
and Heather ran a 14:32, which was
good for her first meet.
The Lady Eagle Cross Country
team will run at Georgetown
Saturday, Oct. 5.

The Giddings Volunteer Fire
Department was called out early
Tuesday morning to free a driver
from a wrecked pickup truck
The driver, Allan Baxtor of Grand
Falls, sideswiped his 1990 Chevrolet
pickup into an 18-wheel truck driven
by Mark Henry of Muleshoe, said
Lee County Sheriff’s deputies.
Baxtor then proceeded to hit an
electric pole, breaking it in half and

A 31-year-old Taylor woman was
slashed 15 to 20 times by a male
acquaintance in Bastrop County and
was in serious condition in an Austin
hospital late last week
The attack was termed the most
brutal he had even seen by Bastrop
County Sheriff Con Keirsey
Gary Lee Stoudt, 49, an
unemployed Bastrop man, has been
arrested in connection with the
incident
Mary Esther Salazar of Taylor
was found sitting on the back porch
of a rural home north of Bastrop She
had been cut so badly that her
bowels and lung were showing,
according to Sheriff Kiersey He said
she was completely nude
