SUMMER FOR
MASSACHUSETTES -
Summer in Massachusettes,
Is a tremendous delight
The fields are alive
With flowers so bright
Vegetable plants
Peek from the ground
Birds in the trees
Make a glorious sound
The sun and the breeze
Whisper warmly, together.
Thank you Dear God
It couldn’t be better.
May we pause as God’s
message is revealed to us.

TO BE LIKE DAD
When I grow up I want to be
The man my daddy is to me
He walks along and holds my
hand
And quietly helps me under-
stand
That God is with me day by
day
That He directs and guides
my way
I want to have a little son
Whose love and faith I know
I’ve won
Just like I love and trust my
dad
The best a fellow ever had
I want to help him as be grows*
To love the God his granddad
knows.

Fathers’ Day is another
special day that is enthusias-
tically observed. It is the
good pleasure of young and
old alike to remember his
or her father in a special
way on this day set aside for
him in June. The wise and
righteous father will bring
Ms children up in the nur-
ture and admonition of the
Lord, and will be careful to
teach him in such ways that
they will have love and res-
pect for him. A child rear-
ed, or being reared in such
a way will be careful to honor
him in some special way on
his special day.
A father is the head of the
household and he "corrects
the son in whom he deligh-
teth." Proverbs 3:12. And,
"the prudent child regar-
deth his father’s reproof."
Proverbs 15:5; Prov. 29:7.
"A soft answer turnethaway
wrath-—” Prov 15:1. A word
fitly spoken is like apples of
gold in pictures of silver.”
Prov. 25:11. A father should
be respectful to his child as
well as the child to his fath-
er.

ox and fatred therewith.

Prov. 15:17. A father who is
so busy making money, even
to the well provision of his
household, that he does not
have time for the counseling
and sharing enjoyment of his
children, is too busy Indeed;
and a child who is too busy’
to spend time with his par-
ent s is also too busy, whether
young or old. .
Thank God for Christian
parents who make their home
a place of Christian love and
fellowship with their child-
ren. The best spices in a
home are those of love, kind-
ness, contentment, joy and
sweet fellowship.
Fathers be careful of the
kind of life you are living
before your child. There may
be a son growing up who
wants
thy love and guidance. Where
children bless the homes
may there be a Christian
father who is careful to seek
and accept thy guidance in
rearing their sons and dau-
ghters, that it may be done
in the nurture and admonition
of the Lord. In Christ’s
name we pray. Amen.

Fruit or fruit juice makes

Then top it off with waffles

Even the novice homema-

preparing scrambled eggs.
Success comes quick and ea-

Regardless of bow many
eggs are scrambled, allow 1
tablespoon milk or cream
and a scant 1/8 teaspoon salt
for each egg. Add pepper as
desired. Use only enough
fat to cover the bottom of the
skillet lightly.
To assure best texture and
appearance, avoid constant
stirring. Cook until eggs are
cooked throughout but are
still moist and glossy—about
evening by the groom’s par-
ents, Mr. 4 Mrs. James Ep-
