Last week was very busy at the
Llano Chamber. We held a Direc-
tors Workshop to identify goals for
1999, determine committee respon-
sibilities and make committee as-
signments. As we discussed goals,
our focus kept returning to our
mission statement, "To enhance the
business environment of Llano in
order to promote the economic well
being of its citizens; improve the
quality life for the entire com-
munity, work in harmony in a non-
partisan manner with business as
well as governmental entities pro-
moting commerce and tourism
tools, tables, chairs, and tents.
They even have a "moonwalk" that
is just perfect for that special child's
birthday party. For all of your
rental equipment needs, give Class
A Rentals and Sales a call at 915-
247-1362.
The Llano Chamber is now 250
members strong. We thank each of
our members for their continued

times during the four days of the
show to staff the booth. With
15,000 to 20,000 expected to visit
the Austin Boat Show, it was a
great opportunity to get the word
out about Llano County and the
Highland Lakes area. After all, we
are home to some of the finest
lakes and waterways in Texas.
We had a banner week with
membership, adding five new
member to the Llano Chamber of
Commerce. Welcome to the. Kenny
Osbourn Ranch in North Llano
County.
Sunrise Beach Marina and Lodge
joined the ranks of the Llano
Chamber last week. They are lo-
cated on a secluded cove on Lake
LBJ, at 776 Sandy Mountain Dr. in
Sunrise Beach. Sunrise Beach Ma-
rina and Lodge offers the comforts
of home and the excitement of Lake
LBJ with a marina, lodge, pool,
boat repair, sea doo and boat
rentals, convenience store and grill.
The lodge offers special weekly,
monthly and winter rates. All units
have complete kitchens, and BBQ
grills on the patio. Some units
even have fireplaces. For more in-
formation give owners, Pat and
Jimmy Bennett a call at 915-388-
9393.
The American Red Cross of
Central Texas is also a new mem-
ber. We all know that the Red
Cross responds to regional, national
and international disasters, but you
may not know that they are also
available with resources to respond
to home fires. The local group led
by Kathy Mahan, Burnet and Llano
County coordinator, is trained to
assess and meet the immediate
emergency needs of victims of
