Well, compared to now, oh, a little bit, yeah (chuckles).

Yeah.
Well, I got a couple of questions I want ask you.

This is ...
I don't know if we covered everything, but I tried to.
Oh no! Yeah, I doubt we have, but that's okay. While I'm still thinking about
it, earlier you mentioned going to the USO ...
Uh huh.
... and watching old movies. Did you ever have the opportunity to go to any of
the USO shows where, you know, the Hollywood celebrities came and
entertained you or of that?
Uh, they had one at ... at boot camp.
Uh huh.
But I was young and naive, and I guess I went, but because of the language and
stuff, I didn't stay (chuckles).
(Chuckles), yeah.
Because when I went in the Navy, gosh was it just ... that was bad!
That was a four-letter ... that's a four-letter word, gosh! (laughter)
Yeah, gosh, you know!
(Laughter).

Just ... well, during the war, I was raised with my mother and sister, my aunt
and her daughter, and a friend of my sister's, and her mother, and I was the only
male.
And you kept it clean!
Yeah, (laughter), you kept it clean.
(Laughter), yeah, (laughter). So, when you were over there in the Pacific, did
you write home many letters?
