quars of vegetables have been cauned
in June with two 1S-quart steam pres
sure cocker and one sealer owned
by Wise Covnty. The cookers are
sent from house to house without
waiting fol it to cool. The biggest
cunning for one day was 72 cans,
club wonen may borrow the cooker
and sealer v hen it i not being used
by the heme demonstration agent.
Food preservation work was dune
in Wise county in all day canning
meetings. The club decided to make
jellies or pickles as a specialty on
this day. Representative vegetables
and fruit ■■ were canned and any other
products lint the women brought
Special car was taken to sce that all
club worn • lenrned to u-e the cooke
and sealer. It is estimated that over
