Naturally, Texans wear the
finest boots in the world. And
the week of February 10, Hum-
ble Oil At Refining Company’s
TV program, Texas in Review
shows how these 'boots are
'made. The program can be seen
locally over KTBC-TV, Austin,
on Tuesday Eebruary 18 at 8.00
p.m. and over KBTX-TV. Bry-
an on Monday February 17 at
8:30 p.m.
Cameramen for the program
visited a well-known San An-
tonio shop where many types of
boots are handmade for celeb-
rities. One pair pictured is made
of ostrich skin.
Other features on the pro-
gram include a visit to the Sam
Rayburn Library in Bonham, a
civil defense exercise in Texar-
kana, a visit with Internal Re-
venue men, and films of the ex-
ellent airports at Houston, Dal-
las, Ft. Worth and San Antonio.

on Feb 2, Miss Sue Blanche
Willard became the bride of
Myron Snell Gantt at the First
Methodist Church in Giddings,
The Rev. Thomas Holcomb of-
ficiated at the nuptial rites.
Mrs. Gantt is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Fred C awford
Willard of Giddings. She at-
tended Southwest Texas State
College in San Marcos and the
Methodist Hospital School of
Nursing in Houston.
The bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Morris S. Gantt
of Denton. He received a bache-
lor of science degree in ac-
counting from Texas A&M and
was employed by Pan Ameri-
can Petroleum Corporation in
Houston. At present he is serv-
ing as a lieutenant in the U.S.
Army at Ft Benning. Ga
Mrs. Warren D Moody, or-
ganist. and Mrs William D.
Droemer, soloist, provided the
wedding music.
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father. She wore
a candlelight brocade taffeta
gown designed and created by
her aunt which featured an
empire bodice with a Sabrina
neckline embroidered with seed
pearls. The bodice was under-
scored by a cummerbund of
candlelight pois de sole which
formed an ascot train dwn the
back of the floor-length gored
skirt. Her silk illusion veil fell
from a pearl crown and she
carried a bouquet of ivory rose-
buds atop a pearl covered Bi-
ble
Miss Margie Kasper of Hous-
ton. maid of honor, wore a pea-
cock blue taffeta dress featur-
ing a Sabrina neckline and
crushed sash which trailed
down the full ballerina length
skirt. She wore a circular veil
of white illusion attached to a
small bow of peacock taffeta
and carried a single long-
stemmed red rose
The bridesmaids, dressed
identically to the maid of hon-
or, were Miss Rosemary Buttry
of Houston, Miss Mary Kay
Simmang of San Antonio, and
Miss Rebekah Willard, cousin
of the bride, of Giddings
George Gantt of Denton serv-
