Funeral services for Frank
J. Ovcarik, 42, of ‘ Houston,
were set for Thursday, Feb. 12
at 2 p. m. at Phillips-Luckey
Lee County Assessor - and
Collector. Marion T. Seale is
now in business with the 1959
auto license plates

white with black numerals and
letters.
The first plate number is
AD10. It was issued to County
Treasurer, Ernest Moerbe.
A total of 2700 plates were
sold- in 1958, it was reported.

tection exhibit will be station-
ed at the Giddings High School
all day Friday, Feb. 13. _ The
M C. Gruetzner, owner of
the Gruetzner Furniture Store,
has been selected to fill the
unexpired term of O. W Sym-
mank. deceased, as a director
of the Lee Memorial Hospital.
Gruetzner, an active com-
munity civic and church lead-
er. is well qualified for the post
by virtue of broad experience
he has gained in business and
in his many other fields of en-
deavor. <
A 'resolution was adopted
unanimously by the Board and
Coronation sponsored by the
Senior Class at 7:30 p.m. on
Saturday, February 14. with
Joe Matejcek acting as Master
of Ceremonies.,
