was the ultimate of immeasurable

But the star of hope was rising.
Men were gripel by the phsycology of

•Wrinkles are checked"—That is
great news for women whose hands
are beginning to show signs of age. I
All manicurists tell us that women’s
hands eften reveal increasing age
more clearly than their faces. They
tell us that few women seem to know
that anything can be done about these
tell-tale signs.
Hand wrinkle can be checked al-
most indefinitely by any woman who
will rub her hands tovether good and
hard for ten or fifteen minutes every
day.
Every woman should certainly use
some up-to-date preparation that
will rub her hands together good and

Our Weekly Sermon
What Is Christianity?
It is an event, for it broke into
history; it is an experience, for it
enriches human life: it is a fellow-
ship for it binds alien souls tozeth-
; er in sacred and enduring fellow-
ship and friendships: it is an adven-
ture. for it thrusts its devotees into
the habitations of cruelty with the
message of salvation! it is a victory
for it overcomes the world.
Christianity is an event, for It
broke into history. Tift- old civiliza-
tions were worn out, and society was
in a state of flux, transition and fu-
sion. Immorality was open, mons-
trons, ami unashamed. In the amphi-
theater delicate ladies gloated over
scenes of blood, while trained gladi-
ators wrestled in mortal combat.
Lions imported from Africa were
turned out to fight men. Liberty was
.lead in Rome and Athens. Millions
were slaves. Sceneca gravely advised
suicide as the best means of es-
cape from the miseries of life.
