Mr. Crowder with his family moved
to Decatur some time ago from his
farm southwest of town. He had been
a resident of the county for many
years. He was a good man, unassum-
ing, and be had many friends among
our people. For some time he had been
in poor health, and Thursday after-
noon while he was conversing with
friends on the public square he com-
plained of feeling sick, and told his
friends that he believed he would go
down home and rest awhile. About
two thirty he walked home and went
much. Nothing short of a almost daily, and in that manner I

Sudetens are people of German ex-
traction. or full-blooded Germans,
come from Germany and settled on the
borderland between Germany and
Czech. They are prosperous and pa-
triotic. but are under the rule of the
Czechs. The Sudetens are more or
less warlike, and for many years have
been demanding a union with the
Germanfatherland, frequently clash-
ing with the Czech government.
