and centered by a massive

stock flanked by blue tapers
in crystal candelabra.
Presiding at the punch bowl
was Miss Sandra Banks and
Miss Judy Johnson served
the cake. Miss Linda Hicks
showed the gifts.

The Rroweldeen Club held
the closing meeting of its
50th year Tuesday, when they
entertained the Junior
Kroweldeens with a luncheon
in the Sun Room of the Gad-
dis Motel.
The serving table covered
with a white cloth was cen-
tered with a mass arrange-
ment of yellow mums and
stock in a hand woven bas-
ket, carrying out the 50th An-
niversary theme. The gold
tinted numerals “50” further
enhanced the table.
The president of the Krowel-
deens, Mrs. T. B. Caldwell,
welcomed the guests and Mrs.
Ernest Wells voiced the invo-
cation.
Following the meal, Mrs.
Mack Roye showed pictures
taken by her and her husband
during their three years stay

Betty Hart Circle
The Betty Hart irele of
the First Baptist Chureh met
Tuesday night in the home
of Mrs. Bruce Brown with 11
members present.
Mrs. Lloyd Sinclair opened
the meeting with prayer. Mrs.
William Gauntt presided over
the business session, during
which a letter from a foreign
student the circle had been
sponsoring was read.
Mrs. J. R. Godwin gave the
mission book study, “Go
Home and Tell.’’
Closing prayer was led by
