Ladies Aid Meets
The Ladies Aid of the Im-
manuel Lutheran Church held
its regular monthly meeting in
the Parish Hall on Thursday,
Dec. 1. The meeting opened
with the singing of ‘ Joy To The
World” and a scripture lesson
and prayer led by Rev. Max
Studtmann. Rev. Studtmann al-
so led the topic "Winning our
Friends” on which film slides
were shown.
Mrs. B. C. Vahrenkamp pre-
sided over the mating at which
37 members were present. The
Charity committee reported
that they were remembering
10 needy families with Christ- 1
mas gifts of money or food bas-
kets.
The membership committee
reported on the prospective
members that had been seen
and urged that every one put
forth every effort to make the
present membership drive a
grand success.

mas family social
The program for the evening
opened with the entire group
singing such carols as “Oh,
Come All Ye Faithful," "Joy
to the World," "O Little Town
of Bethlehem." "Silent Night,"
and the children singing "Away
In A Manger.” Misses Patricia
Kieschnick, Virginia Kasper,
and Shirley Mersiovsky sang
two selections, “White Christ-
mas" and "Joy To The World."
Mrs. - Milton Schroeder led her
Junior Choir in singing "Beside
The Cradle" and "In A Lowly
Manger," with Janice Wagner
and Patricia Koslan carrying

The Film on “The Christmas
Story” was also shown. At the 1
