R AT AND MOUSE CONTROL I
drive is now underway.....in Lee t
County. The program is under the
direction of the adult 4-H leaders.
Rats cost the farmers many |
dollars yearly In the United States
alone rats cost an estimated $1
billion in damage to food, property,
humans, and livestock each year.
It is not what they eat rather what
they destroy. County and com-
munity action is the best way to
control rats.
All people having rats and mice
are encouraged to take part in this
■ county-wide drive. Poison bait will
be sold in four pound packs for $1
to those that place their orders
and deposit their money at their
community bait station.
The bait stations are: Dime Box,
State Bank; Lexington, State Bank:
Lincoln, Lincoln Garage; Manhe-
im, Wachsmann’s Store; Hills, Fis-
cher’s Store; Fedor, Jenke’s Store;
Serbin, Moerbe’s Store; Northrup, |
Weiser’s Store; and Giddings, Co-
unty Agent’s Office.
All orders and deposits must be
placed by Jan. 25. Bait will be
distributed by the bait station
taking your order Feb. 7.
