ors of his mother Mrs. Maria Zoch

Mrs. C.—A. Paulick of Austin
spent Wednesday afternoon with
her niece the Chas. Tschatschulas.
Mr. and Mrs- C. A. Teinert of
Port Arthur called on the H. P.
Weisers Monday afternoon, after
attending his sister, Mrs. Krakos-
ky’s birthday on Sunday. It also
was their first visit up this way
since Mr. Teinert’s operation a-
round Christmas and he is still
not feeling up to.par. But it is
hoped he soon will be feeling bet-
ter. They reported Mrs. Tei--
nert’s brother, Carl Zoch of Port
Arthur, presently at the M. D.
1 Anderson Hospital in Houston very
sick. It is hoped he too, will be
feeling better again soon.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Moerbe and
Mrs. Eddie Laake of Serbin, and
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Matthijetz
and family of Giddings motored to
Rockdale Sunday for a dinner with
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Moerbe and
family and from there in the after-
noon, Mr. Moerbe, son Victor,

Laake motored on to Temple to
visit with Eddie Laake, who is a
. patient in the Veterans hospital
and had an operation on March 6th
and at this writing is getting along
fine, according to Mrs. Laake, who
had a letter from him the latter
part of the week. He wrote he
thought he would be coming home
soon.
