Stephen and Paula Eisenstein Baker of Houston and Ernest and
Barbara Topper of Sunrise, Fla., are pleased to announce the engage-
ment of their children, Sarah and David. Sarah is the granddaughter
of Myron and Ruth Eisenstein of New York, and Dr. Roger and Eleanor
Baker of Chapel Hill. N.C. David is the grandson of the late Louis and
Leah Friedman and the late Morris and Amelia Topper.
A biochemistry graduate of Rice University, Sarah teaches chem-
istry and biology in the Coalition of Essential Schools Program at
Westbury High School, HISD. She is a candidate for a Master of Arts
- in Teaching from Rice University in chemistry and biology. David is
the director of Human Resources Development at the University of
Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He received a Bachelor of _
* Science in psychology from the University of Florida and a Master of
Science inIndustrial/Organizational Psychology from Lamar Univer-
sity. He is a candidate for the Ph.D. degree in Management and Policy
Sciences at the University of Texas School of Public Health.
A November wedding is planned.
